5 Simple Ways to Choose the Right CBD Oil for Safe, Natural Relief
If you’ve been to a local coffee shop in the past few years, chances are, you have seen a latte or cappuccino infused with CBD on the menu.
Or, perhaps you’ve heard your coworkers and friends discussing it. Or, maybe you’ve even seen people using it or considered using it yourself. The truth is - CBD oil is quickly becoming universally accepted as a safe, effective wellness product.
Yet, there is much confusion (and still some controversy) around using CBD.
So, what, exactly is it?
CBD or Cannabidiol is a chemical compound found in the hemp or marijuana plant. Unlike THC, the compound responsible for the “high” sensation, CBD is non-psychoactive and does not give the user a high.
Instead, CBD can provide wellness benefits to its users, such as relief from muscle pain and better control of anxiety, among others.
When first experimenting with CBD, most people try it in oil form. But, with so many different kinds of CBD oil variants to choose from, it can be difficult to narrow down exactly which CBD oil is right for individual wants and needs.
So, we’ve put together a list of tips for how to choose the CBD oil that’s right for you:
1. Choose Organic Over Non-Organic
Just like with processed foods, impure ingredients are sometimes added to CBD oils. But, why use any product that’s made with artificial or synthetic additives when you don’t have to? Before you purchase an oil (or any CBD product, for that matter) make sure its ingredients live up to your personal health standards.
The safest and easiest way to ensure its purity is to check whether or not it’s organic. If it is, you’re good to go!
2. Check to See If It’s Been Tested
When choosing a CBD oil, be sure to look out for information detailing the kinds of testing the product in question undergoes. If manufacturers are not careful, trace amounts of THC can be found in some CBD products. (Be aware, too, that sometimes THC is deliberately put in CBD products. If you’re not looking for a high, don’t buy those!)
The likelihood for any accidental contamination decreases with every test a CBD product undergoes. Don’t be afraid to research testing facilities or the test themselves, too, if you’re skeptical.
3.Be Aware of False Advertisements
In today’s market, false advertisements are more common than is comfortable admitting. Companies rely on the assumption that most consumers won’t do their research, and therefore make generalizations and exaggerations about the products they make.
However, one great way to protect yourself from accidentally falling victim to false ads is to simply be aware of them. If you see a CBD oil that promises to cure everything that ails you, claims its a miracle drug, or anything of the like, it’s probably not something worth buying.
4. Inquire About a Money Back Guarantee
Any good company that believes in their products will offer a money-back guarantee, especially to first time customers. Before you purchase a CBD oil, check out its manufacturer’s website. If they offer a money back guarantee, they are confident that their product can provide results safely and quickly. If they don’t offer one, it’s in your best interest to look elsewhere.
5. Call Customer Support
Buying anything for the first time can be scary, especially when it involves the health and wellness of your body. Any reputable company will be both happy to hear from you and willing to answer any questions you may have about their products.
If you don’t feel comfortable talking over the phone, many websites offer an instant messenger version of customer support. If one is included on a CBD oil company’s website, that’s a great indicator that they are reputable.
I have been studying the short-term and long-term effects of CBD oil for over 15 years, and in just the last 5 years the advances of science have given us some of the most pure, safe, and effective oils ever.
As a CBD expert, one of my favorite overall brands is McHudson Farms - a small batch, local, ethical company that delivers the most premium CBD in a wide range of product.
I don’t typically make endorsements, but when I called their customer service center it was clear every member of that company was passionate about the job they have. They care about giving their customers a real solution.

Don’t believe me?
I always suggest looking at verified testimonials and calling up customer support. Give them a ring or send them an email and see for yourself!
